Room to Read is dedicated to building education infrastructure in developing countries. The non-profit organization has operations in many South and Southeast Asian countries, including Nepal, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Sri Lanka; and is currently expanding to Africa, with South Africa being the first country in that region.


 

Teach For America aims to end educational inequity—the reality that in the US where a child is born determines his or her educational outcomes and, in turn, life prospects.
